CHARACTER INFO
Character Name: Angor RotHe’ll just have his Creeper Sun Dagger on him. It’s powers allow it to turn trolls into stone.
Age: Several thousands of years
Canon: Trollhunters
World Description:
History: History!
Death: He basically dies helping Jim stop Morgana by holding her back and being stabbed through with the eclipse blade.
What are your plans for this character in-game? Character development for sure. Basically at the end of tollhunters Angor finally realizes who he is and breaks free of Morgana’s control for good. He essentially becomes his own person again after doing Morgana’s bidding for so long. I’d like to play around with that aspect of his character since was actually a hero before everything else happened to him.
What aspects of this game and/or its setting are you most interested in having this character engage with? Survival, exploration, maybe horror aspects?!
How does your character generally get along with other people? Humans are touch and go as of right now, but like I said he’s a new person entirely from the canon point of his death. He realizes humans aren’t as weak as he once thought and probably wouldn’t mind interacting with them. But in general he tolerates people and more or less will at least listen to what they have to say.
What is your character's mental state upon entering the game? I suspect he’ll be confused and probably curious on how he was revived, again. He’s died once already and was probably thinking he’d stay dead so most likely he’ll just be…tired. Old tired troll.
Skills/Abilities:
Magic
Angor is an incredibly strong magic wielder and possibly one of the strongest in canon outside of Morgana and Merlin. Given that his powers will given to him by Morgana in exchange for his soul he’s capable of many things. A few examples we're given in canon are: Shooting pink magical blasts that explode on contact, using his own skin as totems to make golems out of inorganic materials such as rocks, glass, and crystals.
One of his most potent abilities is the Mark of Angor Rot in which he paints the symbol on the victim’s face and is thus granted to their abilities. (This will be nerfed to it only lasting for a day, as in canon it's duration is unknown and possibly infinite, and will leave Angor pretty drained after use. Also I will definitely permission post it as well!)
He also knows various spells such as entwining two people’s fates ie: whatever happens to one injury wise happens to the other, and a spell which involves using stones in a circle immobilizes whoever steps within said circle indefinitely.
Angor is also very agile and fast as seen when he jumps through streets and off of buildings and keeps up with Jim’s vespa at a dead sprint with ease. He’s also shown catching a crossbow bolt in his hand and with relative ease as well. He’s also surprisingly resilient, but most trolls are, when he gets hit by multiple cars and even falls off a cliff at one point but he hardly seems to stop him. However large trolls, such as Draal and ARRRGHH are able to over power him somewhat.
He’s an expert tracker, able to actually use his eyes to follow people, and he's also an excellent swordsman as well.
Flaws/Weaknesses: Angor’s flaws are many. He hates not having control of his soul, for one. After losing it to Morgana he becomes sadistic, evil and cold contrary to his past of being caring and a hero to his people and town. He hates following orders from those who are not Morgana but as it turns out he despises her as well and looks for whatever means to break his curse. He’s a bit pompous too, especially when seeing humans, as he finds them fragile and weak to an extent. Another flaw is his adversity towards light, as all trolls are hurt by it and in prolonged exposure to it, it turns them entirely into stone.
His caring nature is also a flaw, given who he is, because once resurrected he begins to change in subtle ways. For one he stops Gunmar for needlessly killing people, especially Draal whom Gunmar calls a dog at one point, the statement resonates with Angor and he tries to prevent the other’s demise by interjecting. His bouts of anger are another flaw and it costs him dearly when he actually destroys the ring housing his soul unintentionally on his own. Angor’s anger is rather animalistic and savage in a way, he’s relentless as well and that sometimes gives him tunnel vision, blocking out everything else and causing him to make mistakes.
Personality: Once aA kind and caring individual Angor lost his soul to protect his people but winded up giving it to the witch, Morgana in exchange for power. Over the centuries he was a ruthless killer, killing many troll hunters in his time before he stopped and locked away in a temple in the Amazon. Throughout the series he’s shown as being sadistic, calculating and intuitive in his means to kill Jim. Using other means aside from just blindly charging in to fight the other he watches, stalks, and gets to know his prey before he thinks up his schemes. For the most part he’s a very calm and perceptive individual who gets under people’s skin and strikes them where it hurts the most. He tries to find their fear for example when he used the pixies on the school to try and assassinate Jim, but in the end he instead strikes a deal with him. Which comes to his next trait, Angor is always searching and always trying to break free of the chains that bind him to the inferna copula (a ring which houses his soul that Morgana created in their deal), so instead of killing Jim he sends Jim off to kill Stricklander but also threatens to kill him in the process should he fail.
Angor’s personality doesn’t remain like this however, it’s seen in season 3 when he’s brought back to life with a piece of his soul and we start to see the true Angor that once was. At first he’s still bloodthirsty and wanting revenge on Jim and his friends for his demise but he slowly starts to shift gears and take on a more neutral role to things happening around him. Unfortunately he’s still under Morgana’s control, since she entwined their souls back with pact. But it’s only once Jim reminds him of the hero he once was that he changes in an instant, fighting Morgana with a ferocity that even the witch is hard pressed to keep up with. We see that Angor is truly a hero there and then as he betrays his master and in the end helps in stopping her at the price of his own life.

[ He’s getting better at this whole network thing, so that’s a plus, unfortunately that doesn’t help his weird or in general strange questions. ]
Who among you knows of magic, specifically light? It’s a strange thing that no light is produced with my own, is it the same for you all? This place holds many secrets, curious isn’t it? What sort of being or place is capable of such feats, to render the entire world in darkness?
[ Well he knows of one, but he hasn’t seen or heard anything of Morgana here. So this was definitely not the eldritch witch’s doing at least. ]
Are there such beings in your world that can cast out all light, true and magical?
